Burma Rd to Kookanusa Bridge

Well, this is it, my first steps on the PNT! Two friends joined me on this section from the north end of Burma Road to the west end of the Koocanusa bridge.  This section was about 25.5 miles long and we did three dayhikes to complete this section. Some good friends of mine live in Eureka and were kind enough to house us for a couple of nights, drop off, and pick up at trailheads. As we travelled south on Burma Road toward Highway 93, forests opened up to fields and farmland with mountains in the background.
